Lifetime Optic Warranty Guide
07 / OWNERSHIP
KLEAR’s Lifetime ClearVision Warranty follows the optic rather than the original purchaser. Registration and an original receipt are not required to request service.
What “follows the optic” means
Coverage is transferable when the product changes owners. A second owner can contact KLEAR about a covered issue without first locating the original buyer or purchase receipt. KLEAR inspects the product and determines whether it can be repaired or should be replaced with the same model or an equivalent current model.
What is covered
The published warranty covers defects and damage that impair the optic’s performance under normal use. Covered service is handled by repair or replacement. The practical lifetime of the product—not a registration period—is the basis of the coverage.
What is excluded
Loss, theft, intentional damage, abuse, misuse, cosmetic wear that does not affect function, unauthorized modifications, third-party repairs, grey-market products, and normal wear and tear are excluded. The full terms control if a short summary differs from the published policy.
How to start service
- Contact KLEAR with your name, contact information, product model, and a clear description of the issue.
- Wait for service instructions before mailing the product.
- Package the product securely and include the requested information.
- Keep the shipping record and watch for status updates by email.
KLEAR aims to respond within five business days after receiving a request and to complete repair or replacement within two to three weeks, subject to parts availability.
